Heady future seen for Australian wines

The Australian wine industry is about to go through one of its great ‘‘pendulum swings’’, predicts one of the nation’s most respected winemakers and industry leaders, Brian Croser.

Speaking at the launch today of a new vintage of wine from his South Australian-based Tapanappa winery, Mr Croser said Australian wine was on the crest of a potential boom as the United States faced a shortage of grapes and new world players such as Chile and Argentina were unable to fill the supply.....
