The estate is owned by Pierre Guillemet, who also owns the 3ème Cru, Château Boyd-Cantenac.

 

The vineyard is planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, with an average age of 37 years.

 

The wine is aged for 12-18 months in oak barrels, of which 30-50% are replaced every year.
