The estate is owned by the Dillon Family through the vehicle Domaine Clarence Dillon. The current Président Directeur Général of the company is Prince Robert of Luxembourg, the great grandson of Clarence Dillon through his mother’s side.
The second wine of Château Haut-Brion was renamed Le Clarence de Haut-Brion. Prior to the 2007 vintage it was known as Château Bahans de Haut-Brion.
The Château also produces the most sought after dry white in Bordeaux simply known as Château Haut-Brion Blanc.
Château La Mission Haut-Brion was acquired by Domaine Clarence Dillon in 1983, ending years of fierce competition.
The wine is aged in 80% new barrels for 18-22 months.
Average annual production is 10,000 to 12,000 cases.
